Buddy Guy Discovers Quinn Sullivan
"I have been a fan of Quinn Sullivan for the last 15 years, him being the first blues artist I had ever listened to. The show opened with Mario Salazar, who must have been born with a guitar in his hands. At 16 years of age, he blew away the crowd with his talent and obvious love of the guitar. Although there was a little too much talking for my taste, Mario Salazars act was sprinkled with humor and eccentricities. Boy, what I was missing out on. When he played, he wowed the crowd as the guitar spoke for him. A man who has obviously been playing a long time and loves performing still, even at the age of 79."
